Brooklyn, New York has been the home for The Country Kitchen Restaurant since 1985. The restaurant was formally known as Carolina Country Kitchen, and has operated under new ownership for the last six years. Our customers come from all over the United States for the “original” down home taste.
We have since added a formal dining room for our Sunday Brunch and Dinner, and is also used for private parties, showers and meetings. Its also the platform for our Friday Night Karaoke, where you may become the next “Country Kitchen Karaoke Idol”.
Our menu consists of nearly every southern favorite you can imagine, and it’s the best in New York City. We serve our early bird breakfast at 7am on weekends and 7:30am thru the week.
Some of our breakfast favorites are Sage Sausages, Country Ham, Salmon, Salmon Croquettes, Fish and Grits, Eggs and Sausages and Fried Apples.
We feature stuffed sandwiches with your choice of fried or baked chicken, pork chops, chopped BBQ, whiting, catfish, meatloaf and more.
Our Lunch & Dinner menu includes such favorites as baked turkey wings, fried chicken, smothered pork chops, oxtails, and baby back ribs with our delicious side dishes including collard greens, candied yams, black-eyed peas, macaroni and cheese, corn on the cob, stuffing and seasoned or white rice with home made brown gravy.
